lamp2

well, the lamp is getting closer to completion stage. i havent attached the string for the spray cans to hang off, or bought the paint for that matter, but i should be able to bring it into class on monday for hopefully a bit of a critique?
its worked out pretty well. i am exploring altenatives for the clips, as well as tryign to make sure it stays level

instead of several pieces of paper, i would have one whole one.

also the strings hang much more shallow. i have bought a light, but i'm just waiting to find somewhere i can hang it.

what colours for the paint do you think? somthing different. red, black and... yellow? too aborigi-german?

ps. the chair is just to hold the lamp up... as a counterweight...

i guess the idea is that the paper is not a material to be worked with, rather than a canvas to be worked upon. the factors around the lamp affect how it looks. not only is the spray there as a tool to put ideas on the paper, and make the blank page an expression, but the light's intencity, the proximity of the people inside the paper circle to the globe and to the paper, and the environment outside.
the appearance of the lamp depends on so many factors...
