skirt lamp
why not make a stand which has a band that is adjustable - designed to hold skirts. put a light underneath and you have the perfect coathanger/ lamp/ method of showing off your own style.

That would be a good idea, but many skirts are made out of a heavy fabric so not much light can get through, but a skirt hanging light would be a fun addition to a room.
