i dont know what i want to do.
i am not goign to burma i think. everyone i have asked has fallen through, and i'm quite... upset that no-one wants to go. there are always people with their own plans or who would prefer to travel with someone else.
anyway, i was going to try and do some volunteer conservation work in fiji, though it would cost about $1500 including flights. it was suggested to me that i work for tsunami rehabilitation for 4 weeks,and it will cost about the same, or more, but i'd be helping using skills i already partially have (i.e. i have no conservatione xperience, and from what i understnad, fijians think that australians who are sent over there know whats going on).
truthfully, i dont know if i want to pay money to volunteer, be it in a foriegn country, in my relax time. would it be more enjoyable to go somewhere by myself.
i have no conviction about anything relating to this travel shit anymore, its like i'm smitten with every new plan.

I would so love to travel but at the moment I have no money and tat what I do earn goes strait into uni, travel and materials and such but one day I’ll travel with you. What would you do if you didn’t travel? Would you stay at home and entertain yourself?
dude, travel by yourself, i know that i is hard thing to do (as i have done it) but it is rewarding in so many ways - you find out things about yourself that you never knew before and meet some of the most amazing people on the planet and experience many things in ways you never would have if you had someone travelling with you. while your travelling you can even just hook up with randoms that you meet and travel with them if you want someone to travel with - that is always fun. that reminds me i found a site on the net while back that is for linking up while travelling - the idea is that you post a thing that says i'll be here, here and here on this date and blah blah blah and anyone who wants to travel togther that might be there at that time let me know sorta thing. which is sorta cool - can remember the name of the site though. anyway - maybe you could think about somewhere closer to home - maybe if you can't get people to go overseas with you - you travel around australia as it would make it slightly cheaper and easier for others if your desperate to travel with someone else.
anyway thats my ramble on it all. hope you work out what you are gunna do and that it works out well
