Are you numb because you didn't expect some of the marks like in Communication? Or that the LCP is weird because you pick your mark not knowing the standards of everyone. You have done really well should be pretty proud. It’s been great working with you this semester, and to share your enthusiasm. You don’t need marks to tell you how well you have done (even though there great) as long as you finish the year happy and that you gave most things your best shot when you had the time, then you’re a winner.
The LCP is strange still don’t know what to think like in studies I think I learnt heaps more in all the classes than the stupid essay we got marked on hardly learnt anything at all and still don’t have a clear idea about contextualising and recontextualising which I can blame on my lack of ability to research past the obvious. I think it requires a lot of self reflection I can see myself being able to use it better next year, as I think you need to be able to visualise all your strengths and weaknesses. Though I’ll honestly say that all your marks are very well justified so maybe you have already done this. I’ll stop rambling on your blog now. Have fun in Chilly Canberra, enjoy the sun when it eventually shows.
thanks haley, you;re really good at giving a positive response. i guess i am happy with the results. at the time i wrote this post i forgot that worshop contributed 30% to studio, so i thought i'd been cheated out fo teh grade i elected. i emailed soumitri, and he was lightning quick to try and rectify and then point out the mistake, which was my forgetfulness.
i am happy with how i went, largely suprised at the communications, especially since i slacked off. but anyway
are you happy with yours?
Yeah I am happy with my results thrilled and surprised I managed to do so well in Communication, all that extra time was worth it though I think it was probably flash and Friday’s drawing that let me just scrap a DI. Studies well I knew I could have done a lot better but at the time I chose to focus else where so maybe next year will put in the effort. Yeah workshop is with studio, forgot about that. The only reason I think I actually pass that is with an extreme amount of help you’ll always find me pestering them for help, but I guess we all have to be bad at something. Each problem I make can be fixed with sanding so I think that’s what I spend all my time doing.
