heres the lamp shade i finally made with 35 mm film, sown with red apholstery thread, just need to build a stand and base now....

Wow that looks really good,. I am glad to see that you haven’t run out of motivation, and still creating master pieces. I have been reading your comments see that you have plans to travel overseas, where are you heading to? Are you going alone, I hope you have a safe and happy trip and take care. Hope the holidays are been good to you in Canberra and are getting plenty of rest and relaxation. Show us a photo when you make the stand/base of it. Have a Happy New year and all the best.
hi haley, thanks for your comment - long time no speak! theres a big difference between motivation and finally getting to start something which you've been itching to do for a year - and the sewing finally worked. anyway.
i am going to thailand, vietnam, and laos for about 6 weeks by myself, but i'm pretty sure that i'll be meeting up with lots of different people along the way.

Yeah I’ll try with my new resolutions, wow 6 weeks in Asia should be really good, and I am sure your going to meet lots of people, so you wont be alone. Take some photos to show us where you have been. I wish that I was going somewhere for the holidays there starting to drag along a bit. I have nothing to look forward to but now I know to make plenty of plans for the next ones.
Some distant relative of mine made us this family tree book thing and it turns out our last name was Smolinski they changed it to Smolenski when they moved from Poland to New Zealand in the 1880s. Though they can’t really find any trace of other family when they moved from Poland, all there is the towns name very suspicious. On Mum’s side though we found out we are related to and axe murder…you’ve been ward so be nice…
Hi just curious when is your 21st birthday? Cause I want to look up your starsign and find out your future… No I am just trying to get people’s birthdays this year as I seemed to miss every ones last year. Mines on the 25th of Feb so a while off still. Sorry about my scary posts I’ll plead insanity now and stop sending them.

cheers jeremy, i thought it might have been you, but not sure. this damn blog is somewhere i come when i feel like sending an email, but to no-one in particular. its funny how impersonal and also personal the things i say can be. the lanterns are comeing along but will have to wait a few weeks while i go away on more pressing relaxing matters.
