Hey, you sound like you are really getting into so many places, and travelling around in such varied transports! Wat a trip!! Luang Pab sounds awesome - did you get to Wat Xieng Thong? You just don't think of places dating back to the 1500s there, but there are prob many older ones too. Did you get around by bike? Look forward to hearing more about the Gibbons too. its so great to hear of your adventures as you go - not quite as good as being there, but better cos it's happening now!!
Looking forward to the next instalment!
Sounds like you’re getting around and visiting a variety of places. Glad to hear you are having fun with other fellow travellers and keeping busy. I got my RMIT bill in the mail today so there will probably be a nice surprise when you get back…It’s funny the first thing you hear from uni is always the bill and the last is when you start. Hope Laos is heaps of fun and has great food like Thailand. (I get the hint from your blog that you are enjoying Asian cuisine.) It must be interesting to visit older countries with heaps more history, and seeing how there culture developed. Safe travels
